Just last week, 8,268 people got Nomorobo protection!
We can finally have dinner again as a family without being constantly interrupted by unwanted calls. The frequency of call is drastically reduced, and when the phone rings 9 of 10 it is a call we are happy to take. It has restored faith in the phone as a means of communication, rather than an annoyance.
— Daniele, Nov 29th, 9:12amLike many of the robo calls I thought Nomorobo was similarly suspect. But since we were being inundated with junk phone calls I signed up. I have to say the service works exactly as promised. One ring and those junk calls are shunted to space. You guys are great!
— Andrew H, Nov 29th, 9:14amNomorobo has been such a great service. I hear that first ring, and then when I don't hear a second one, I know that I just avoided an irritation. We have the right to our peace, and Nomorobo provides it.
— David S, Nov 29th, 9:14amI work nights and would often be woken during the day by continuous calls from Telemarketers. Some would call 4-6 times one after the other. Often 12-15 unanswered calls a day. They were relentless. Since the day I activated Nomorobo my house has been at peace. Now when the phone rings, I actually answer it.
— Tina, Nov 29th, 9:18amIt is AMAZING how many "one ringers" we get! So glad we have Nomorobo and have installed it on our parents' phones and recommended it to many others! Thanks!!!!
— Patty, Nov 29th, 9:35amIt rocks! Saves us from so many calls. On the wishlist, each user could have a personal block list so that they could add numbers to the block list! I'd pay for that.
— John I, Nov 29th, 9:54amFirst off, I just want to say Thank You! While not perfect, Nomorobo is still by far the best thing I have found to help deal with the endless BS calls from the wide assortment of scumbags and scammers who chose to torment us with their useless and unwanted calls at all hours of the day and night. Yes, some calls get through, until those numbers end up getting caught by Nomorobo, but this is a small price to pay for the peace of mind and lack of aggravation that is gained by the majority of calls being intercepted. As an individual with mobility issues, I can't express how much better it is with Nomorobo, to not have to jump up every time the phone rings, thinking it may be a call from family or friends, only to find out it was some d*ckhead from 1000 miles away, trying to con me into buying an extended automobile warranty or some other crap-tastic scam. I can now calmly wait to see if the call gets rejected after the first ring, before having to struggle to reach the phone, knowing that in most instances that call will be a legitimate call. The Nomorobo service has been extremely effective for us, and I tell others about it all the time. I hope that this service remains free of charge, as I feel that it is an added insult to have to pay for a service to keep from being harassed, scammed, and otherwise being victimized by the low life's of the world who chose the telephone as their weapon of choice to assault their victims. To be charged for the Nomorobo service, well, I liken that to having to pay for the police to show up at your house when a similar attempt at scamming you has been made in person. Please, continue to keep this service free for the benefit of all, I'm sure there is a way for you to monetize Nomorobo, without placing that burden on it's users. Again, thank you for the Nomorobo service, I can't express how much it has helped to keep the tele-scum at bay in our household!
— John, Nov 29th, 10:04amThis is the best thing to happen to phone communications. One ring and they're gone. Some still get through but only abut 10%. I'd say that is good work. You guys are the greatest. We can now eat dinner without trying to tolerate telemarketers - even non-profits.Thanks!
